उत्तराखंड के स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डॉ.धन सिंह रावत ने देश में मंकीपॉक्स के बढ़ते खतरों को लेकर स्वास्थ्य विभाग को अलर्ट मोड पर रहने के निर्देश दिए हैं। उन्होंने विभागीय अधिकारियों को मंकीपॉक्स को लेकर सर्तकता बरतने के निर्देश दिए हैं। मंत्री ने कहा कि जिला स्तर पर मंकीपॉक्स के नियंत्रण और रोकथाम के लिए निगरानी व सर्विलांस सिस्टम को मजबूत करने के लिए जिलाधिकारियों व मुख्य चिकित्साधिकारियों को निर्देेश दिए गए हैं।
उन्होंने कहा कि प्रदेश में एक भी मामला मिला तो इसे प्रकोप माना जाएगा। स्वास्थ्य मंत्री ने बताया कि एहतियात के तौर पर केंद्र सरकार की ओर जारी गाइडलाइन के आधार पर स्वास्थ्य विभाग ने मंकीपॉक्स से बचाव व सर्तकता बरतने के लिए एसओपी जारी कर दी है।
जिला स्तर पर मंकीपॉक्स के नियंत्रण व रोकथाम के लिए कड़ी निगरानी रखी जाएगी। जिसके लिए विभागीय अधिकारियों को सर्विलांस सिस्टम मजबूत करने को कहा गया है। प्रदेश की प्रत्येक चिकित्सा इकाई और मेडिकल कॉलेज में मंकीपॉक्स के लिए अलग से आइसोलेशन की व्यवस्था के साथ ही नोडल अधिकारी नामित किए गए हैं। इसके साथ ही चिकित्सालयों में रोगियों की जांच व उपचार के लिए पर्याप्त दवाएं उपलब्ध करने के निर्देश भी विभागीय अधिकारियों को दिए गए हैं।
