देश में पिछले 24 घंटे में सोमवार को कोरोना वायरस के 2,424 नए मरीज सामने आए हैं। केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय ने जारी किए आंकड़ों के मुताबिक, देश में कोविड-19 के नए मरीजों की संख्या बढ़कर 4,46,12,437 हो गई है, जबकि सक्रिय मरीजों की संख्या घटकर 28,079 हजार से नीचे पहुंच गई है। पिछले दो दिनों में लगातार सक्रिय मरीजों की संख्या में कमी आ रही है।

मंत्रालय के मुताबिक, पिछले 24 घंटे में कोरोना से तीन लोगों की मौत के बाद मरने वालों की संख्या 5,28,814 पहुंच गई है। तीन नई मौतों में केरल के दो और पश्चिम बंगाल के एक व्यक्ति शामिल हैं। संक्रमण से स्वस्थ होने वालों की संख्या बढ़कर 4,40,57,544 हो गई, जबकि मामले की मृत्यु दर 1.19 प्रतिशत दर्ज की गई। मंत्रालय ने कहा कि सक्रिय मामलों में कुल संक्रमण का 0.06 प्रतिशत शामिल है, जबकि देश में कोविड-19 से ठीक हुए मरीजों की दर बढ़कर 98.75 प्रतिशत हो गई है। मंत्रालय के अनुसार, दैनिक सकारात्मकता दर 2.65 प्रतिशत दर्ज की गई थी। मंत्रालय ने कहा कि साप्ताहिक सकारात्मकता दर 1.27 प्रतिशत दर्ज की गई। 24 घंटे की अवधि में सक्रिय कोविड-19 केसलोएड में 514 मामलों की गिरावट दर्ज की गई है।
चार करोड़ से ज्यादा लोग हो चुके कोरोना संक्रमित
भारत में कोविड -19 टैली 7 अगस्त 2020 को 20 लाख, 23 अगस्त को 30 लाख, 5 सितंबर को 40 लाख और 16 सितंबर को 50 लाख को पार कर गया था। यह 28 सितंबर 2021 को 60 लाख, 11 अक्टूबर को 70 लाख को पार कर गया था। 29 अक्टूबर को 80 लाख, 20 नवंबर को 90 लाख और 19 दिसंबर को एक करोड़ का आंकड़ा पार किया। देश में 4 मई को दो करोड़ और पिछले साल 23 जून को तीन करोड़ के आंकड़े को पार किया था, जबकि इस साल 25 जनवरी 2022 को चार करोड़ का आंकड़ा पार किया है। मंत्रालय के अनुसार, राष्ट्रव्यापी टीकाकरण अभियान के तहत अभी तक कोविड-19 वैक्सीन की 218.99 करोड़ खुराक दी जा चुकी हैं।
