राज्य स्थापना की 22वीं वर्षगांठ को हर्ष और उल्लास के साथ मनाने के लिए दून तैयार है। विधानसभा, राजभवन, मुख्यमंत्री आवास, सचिवालय व तमाम शासकीय कार्यालयों को प्रकाशमय किया गया है।
हर बार की तरह पुलिस की रैतिक परेड आकर्षण का केंद्र रहेगी और मुख्यमंत्री रिजर्व पुलिस लाइन में परेड का निरीक्षण करेंगे। इसके अलावा तमाम अन्य कार्यक्रम राज्य स्थापना दिवस पर आयोजित किए जा रहे हैं।

पांच विभूतियों को दिया जाएगा उत्तराखंड गौरव सम्मान:
समारोह में राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा सलाहकार अजीत डोभाल, देश के पहले चीफ आफ डिफेंस स्टाफ रहे जनरल स्व. बिपिन रावत, केंद्रीय फिल्म सेंसर बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष प्रसून जोशी, प्रसिद्ध गीतकार स्व. गिरीश चंद्र तिवारी गिर्दा और साहित्यकार स्व. वीरेन डंगवाल को उत्तराखंड गौरव सम्मान से सम्मानित किया जाएगा। पुरस्कार में एक लाख रुपये की सम्मान राशि, प्रशस्ति पत्र व प्रतीक चिह्न प्रदान किया जाता है।

राज्य निर्माण के लिए बलिदान देने वालों को सीएम ने दी श्रद्धांजलि: वहीं, राज्यपाल ले. जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (सेनि.) की गरिमामय उपस्थिति भी रहेगी। इस कार्यक्रम में शामिल होने से पहले मुख्यमंत्री कलेक्ट्रेट परिसर स्थित शहीद स्मारक पहुंचे और राज्य निर्माण के लिए बलिदान देने वालों को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की।
राज्य आंदोलनकारी संगठन शहीद स्मारक पर सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम: इसके बाद संस्कृति विभाग के सौजन्य से राज्य आंदोलनकारी संगठन शहीद स्मारक पर सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाएंगे। साथ ही आंदोलनकारी संगठन शाम को दीपदान करेंगे।

उत्तराखंड क्रांति दल शहीद स्मारक पर श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करेंगे: राज्य स्थापना दिवस पर विभिन्न अन्य राजनीतिक व सामाजिक संगठन भी कार्यक्रम आयोजित कर रहे हैं। इस क्रम में उत्तराखंड क्रांति दल जहां सुबह शहीद स्मारक पर श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करेंगे।

आम आदमी पार्टी दर्शनलाल चौक स्थित पंचायती मंदिर में हवन करेगी: वहीं पर्वतीय गांधी इंद्रमणि बडोनी की प्रतिमा पर माल्यार्पण करने के साथ राज्यपाल को ज्ञापन दिया जाएगा। आम आदमी पार्टी दर्शनलाल चौक स्थित पंचायती मंदिर में हवन करेगी, जबकि कांग्रेस कमेटी ने विचार गोष्ठी का आयोजन किया है।
तमाम अन्य संगठन भी राज्य स्थापना दिवस की शुभ बेला पर सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों से लेकर गोष्ठियों आदि का आयोजन कर रहे हैं।
