उत्तराखंड बोर्ड की 10वीं और 12वीं की परीक्षा में अधिकतम दो विषयों में फेल छात्र-छात्राओं को सरकार पास होने का मौका देगी। शिक्षा मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत के मुताबिक इसके लिए कैबिनेट में प्रस्ताव लाया जाएगा। अगले शिक्षा सत्र से सरकार इस व्यवस्था को लागू कर सकती है।
इस साल बोर्ड परीक्षा में 48 हजार से अधिक छात्र-छात्राएं फेल हुए हैं। उत्तराखंड बोर्ड का 10वीं का वर्ष 2021 का परीक्षाफल 99 प्रतिशत रहा जबकि इस साल परीक्षाफल 77.47 प्रतिशत रहा है। 28 हजार से अधिक छात्र-छात्राएं 10वीं में फेल हुए हैं। यही हाल 12वीं का रहा। 12वीं की परीक्षा का रिजल्ट पिछले साल 99.71 प्रतिशत रहा जबकि इस साल परीक्षाफल 82.63 प्रतिशत रहा है। इसमें 19 हजार से अधिक छात्र-छात्राएं फेल हो गए।
सरकार का मानना है कि 10वीं या 12वीं में फेल होने के बाद कई छात्र-छात्राएं पढ़ाई छोड़ रहे हैं। शिक्षा मंत्री डा. धन सिंह रावत के मुताबिक सरकार 10वीं और 12वीं में फेल छात्र-छात्राओं को पास होने का मौका देना चाहती है। पूर्व में इस तरह की व्यवस्था थी, लेकिन बाद में इस बंद कर दिया गया। सरकार चाहती है कि अधिकतम दो विषयों में फेल छात्र-छात्राओं को अंक सुधार का मौका दिया जाए।
आठ अंक का मिलता है ग्रेस:- उत्तराखंड विद्यालयी शिक्षा परिषद रामनगर में अपर सचिव बृजमोहन रावत के मुताबिक बोर्ड परीक्षा में अधिकतम दो विषयों में फेल छात्र-छात्राओं को आठ अंक का ग्रेस दिया जाता है।

यूपी के समय फेल छात्रों के लिए फिर से परीक्षा की व्यवस्था गई थी, लेकिन उत्तराखंड में इस व्यवस्था को बंद कर दिया गया था। अब फिर से इसका प्रस्ताव तैयार किया गया है। अगले शिक्षा सत्र से इस व्यवस्था को लागू किया जा सकता है। – बृजमोहन रावत अपर सचिव रामनगर बोर्ड
