मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने गुरुवार को राज्य के स्कूलों और अन्य दुर्गम क्षेत्रों में मुफ्त सैनिटरी पैड वितरण के लिए मुख्यमंत्री आवास पर सीएसआर के तहत यूनियन बैंक और मानव सेवा समाज द्वारा स्थापित की जाने वाली सेनेटरी पैड वितरण मशीन का उद्घाटन किया।
मानव सेवा समाज के आशीष गिरी ने मुख्यमंत्री को बताया कि “पैड मिशन” के तहत 1000 स्कूली छात्राओं को एक साल तक मुफ्त सैनिटरी पैड और 20 स्कूलों में सैनिटरी पैड वितरण मशीनें लगाई जाएंगी। यह कार्यक्रम सीएसआर के तहत यूनियन बैंक और मानव सेवा समाज द्वारा चलाया जाएगा। उन्होंने बताया कि हम अगले एक साल तक दूरस्थ विद्यालयों में पढ़ने वाली 1000 छात्राओं को सैनिटरी पैड उपलब्ध कराएंगे, जो बिल्कुल मुफ्त होगा। हमारे संगठन का लक्ष्य अगले 5 वर्षों में इस मिशन के तहत अधिक से अधिक स्कूलों को जोड़ना है।
