उत्तराखंड के अल्मोड़ा के रानी खेत में मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री मोदी के नेतृत्व में भारतीय फौज और सशक्त हुई है। उन्होंने सरकार द्वारा सेना के लिए किए गए कार्यों और आधुनिक हथियारों के निर्माण पर भी प्रकाश डाला। धामी ने कहा कि सरकार सैनिकों के कल्याण के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है।
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कुमाऊं व नागा रेजिमेंटल सेंटर (केआरसी) मुख्यालय स्थित बलिदान स्मारक पहुंच अमर बलिदानियों को पुष्पचक्र अर्पित कर श्रद्धांजलि दी। उन्होंने भारतीय सेना के जवानों खासतौर पर अग्निवीर सैनिकों के साथ संवाद कर उत्साह बढ़ाया।
कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी की कुशल अगुआई में भारतीय सेना पहले से अधिक सशक्त, सक्षम व आत्मनिर्भर बनी है। हमारी सेना दुश्मनों की गोलियों का जवाब गोलों से देकर देश की सीमाओं की मजबूती से रक्षा कर रही है। उन्होंने वीर नारियों को सम्मानित भी किया।
दो दिनी दौरे पर यहां पहुंचे मुख्यमंत्री धामी ने मंगलवार को केआरसी मुख्यालय में सेना के जवानों व अग्निवीरों से आत्मीय भेंट की।
कहा कि प्रदेश सरकार पूर्व सैनिकों, उनके स्वजन तथा अमर बलिदानियों के आश्रितों के सम्मान व कल्याण के लिए पूर्ण प्रतिबद्धता के साथ कार्य कर रही है।
राज्य में विभिन्न कल्याणकारी योजनाओं के माध्यम से शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, रोजगार, पेंशन एवं आर्थिक सहायता सुनिश्चित की जा रही है, ताकि वीर परिवारों को हर स्तर पर सम्मान, सुरक्षा और संबल मिल सके।
मुख्यमंत्री कुमाऊं वूलन सेंटर पहुंच सैन्य परिवारों की वीर नारियों से भी मुलाकात कर सम्मानित किया। सीएम ने केआरसी का संग्रहालय व शोध केंद्र भी देखा। इस दौरान केआरसी कमांडेंट ब्रिगेडियर संजय कुमार यादव आदि सैन्य अधिकारी मौजूद रहे।
