चारधाम यात्रा में पंजीकरण का कार्य छह मार्च से शुरू होगा। इसके अलावा पंजीकरण का कोई भी शुल्क नहीं लगेगा। चारधाम यात्रा के तहत केदारनाथ धाम में 22 अप्रैल और बदरीनाथ धाम के कपाट 23 अप्रैल को खुलने की घोषणा हो चुकी है।
गंगोत्री और यमुनोत्री धाम के कपाट परंपरागत तौर पर अक्षय तृतीय के दिन खुलते हैं, अक्षय तृतीय 19 अप्रैल को है। हालांकि अभी कपाट खुलने की घोषणा होना बाकी है। चारधाम यात्रा के दृष्टिगत सरकारी विभाग भी तैयारियों में जुट गए हैं। मुख्य सचिव की अध्यक्षता में इसके मद्देनजर बैठक भी हो चुकी है। लोक निर्माण विभाग के सचिव ने चारधाम यात्रा मार्ग का निरीक्षण किया है।
सचिव पर्यटन धीराज सिंह गर्ब्याल ने बताया कि चारधाम यात्रा के लिए पंजीकरण का काम छह मार्च से शुरू होगा। गढ़वाल आयुक्त विनय शंकर पांडेय ने बताया कि अभी ऑनलाइन पंजीकरण शुरू होगा। यात्रा शुरू होने के साथ ही ऑफलाइन पंजीकरण की भी व्यवस्था की जाएगी। आयुक्त पांडेय ने बताया कि पंजीकरण शुल्क का प्रस्ताव भेजा गया था, पर इस पर सहमति नहीं बनी है। कोई भी पंजीकरण शुल्क नहीं लिया जाएगा।
