मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने सीएम कैंप कार्यालय स्थित मुख्य सेवक सदन में पूर्व सैनिकों के साथ संवाद किया। सीएम ने संवाद कार्यक्रम में राज्य के पूर्व सैनिकों के साथ अग्निपथ योजना से युवाओं को लाभान्वित करने पर विचार विमर्श किया। कार्यक्रम में शासन, प्रशासन के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी और जिलाधिकारी वर्चुअल रूप से प्रतिभाग किया।
देश के तीनों सैन्य बलों ने रविवार को अग्निपथ योजना के तहत भर्ती का विस्तृत कार्यक्रम सामने रखते हुए साफ किया कि तीनों बलों की औसत आयु कम करने के लिए इसे लागू करना जरूरी है। रक्षा मंत्रालय में सैन्य मामलों के विभाग के अतिरिक्त सचिव लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल अनिल पुरी ने यह भी स्पष्ट कर दिया कि योजना वापस नहीं ली जाएगी।
अग्निपथ योजना के विरोध में आज भारत बंद का एलान किया गया है। उत्तराखंड में भी विरोध के चलते अलर्ट जारी किया गया है। योजना को लेकर युवाओं की दुविधा दूर करने के साथ ही लाभान्वित करने पर विचार करने के लिए सोमवार को सीएम पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने राज्य के पूर्व सैनिकों के साथ संवाद कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया।
इस संवाद कार्यक्रम में प्रदेश के समस्त जिलों से पूर्व सैनिकों ने रखे अपने विचार रखे। सीएम ने कहा कि राज्य सरकार अग्निवीरों को विभिन्न योजनाओं से लाभ पहुंचाएगी। राज्य पुलिस बलों में भर्ती में प्राथमिकता के साथ हॉर्टिकल्चर से भी जोड़ने पर रूपरेखा बनेगी।
संवाद कार्यक्रम में सीएम पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि कुछ लोग अपना राजनीतिक स्वार्थ देख रहे हैं। वे ऐसा व्यवहार कर रहे हैं जैसे वे हमारे देश के साथ नहीं बल्कि दुश्मन देशों के साथ हैं। सीएम ने कहा कि अगर आप इसका विरोध सिर्फ इसलिए करेंगे क्योंकि यह पीएम मोदी द्वारा लाया जा रहा है, या यह इस सरकार द्वारा किया जा रहा है। तो इस मानसिकता का पर्दाफाश करना होगा।
पूर्व सैनिकों के साथ बातचीत के दौरान सीएम ने कहा कि हमारे युवाओं को गुमराह किया जा रहा है। हम भाग्यशाली हैं कि सशस्त्र बलों ने हमेशा समाज की ढाल के रूप में काम किया है। उन्होंने देश की ढाल के रूप में काम किया है। कहा कि उत्तराखंड राष्ट्रवाद और देशभक्ति की भावना से भरा है। इस फैसले का स्वागत किया जाना चाहिए। वहीं इस दौरान मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने कहा कि सेना में जाने की चाह रखने वाले युवा इस तरह से नुकसान नहीं पहुंचा सकते हैं।
