पेट्रोल और डीजल की बढ़ती कीमतों का सामना कर रहे देश के नागरिकों को केंद्र सरकार ने शनिवार को बड़ी राहत देने का एलान किया। केंद्रीय वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने कहा कि हम पेट्रोल पर केंद्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क (एक्साइज ड्यूटी) को आठ रुपये और डीजल पर छह रुपये कम कर रहे हैं। इससे पेट्रोल की कीमत 9.5 रुपये प्रति लीटर और डीजल के भाव में सात रुपये प्रति लीटर तक कम हो जाएंगे।
इसके साथ ही वित्त मंत्री ने यह भी कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री उज्ज्वला योजना के नौ करोड़ से अधिक लाभार्थियों को 200 रुपये प्रति सिलेंडर (12 सिलेंडर तक) सब्सिडी दी जाएगी। उन्होंने कहा कि इससे हमारी माताओं और बहनों को मदद मिलेगी।
प्लास्टिक उत्पादों पर कस्टम ड्यूटी भी घटाई:- सीतारमण ने कहा कि हम उन प्लास्टिक उत्पादों के लिए कच्चे माल पर भी कस्टम ड्यूटी कम कर रहे हैं, जहां हमारी आयात निर्भरता ज्यादा है। स्टील के कुछ कच्चे माल पर भी आयात शुल्क को घटाया जाएगा। कुछ स्टील उत्पादों पर निर्यात शुल्क लगाया जाएगा। वित्त मंत्री ने कहा कि सीमेंट की उपलब्धता को बेहतर करने के लिए मानक अमल में लाए जा रहे हैं और सीमेंट की कीमत कम करने के लिए बेहतर लॉजिस्टिक्स का सहारा लिया जा रहा है।
केरल ने दी और रियायत:- केरल सरकार ने पेट्रोल और डीजल पर कर में क्रमश: 2.41 रुपये और 1.36 रुपये की कटौती की घोषणा की। केरल के वित्त मंत्री केएन बालगोपाल ने यह जानकारी दी।
शनिवार को पेट्रोल-डीजल के कुछ ऐसे रहे दाम:- शनिवार को राष्ट्रीय राजधानी दिल्ली में पेट्रोल की कीमत 105.41 रुपये प्रति लीटर और डीजल के दाम 96.67 रुपये प्रति लीटर रहे। मुंबई में पेट्रोल की कीमत 115.51 रुपये और डीजल की 105.77 रुपये प्रति लीटर रही। कोलकाता में पेट्रोल का भाव 115.12 रुपये और डीजल की कीमत 99.83 रुपये प्रति लीटर रही थी। वहीं, चेन्नई में पेट्रोल 110.85 रुपये प्रति लीटर और डीजल 100.94 रुपये प्रति लीटर के भाव से बिका।
