पशुपालन व्यवसाय को बढ़ावा देने के लिए प्रदेश सरकार गोट वैली के बाद राज्य में पोल्ट्री वैली योजना शुरू करने जा रही है। एक साल पहले पायलट प्रोजेक्ट के तौर पर चकराता में पोल्ट्री वैली बनाई थी। जिसमें सफलता मिलने पर अब अन्य जिलों में पोल्ट्री वैली बनाई जाएगी।
इसके अलावा प्रदेश के सभी जिलों में आंचल कैफे स्थापित किए जाएंगे। 25 नवंबर को आंचल कैफे व पोल्ट्री वैली की शुरुआत की जाएगी। सचिव पशुपालन एवं दुग्ध विकास डॉ. बीवीआरसी पुरुषोत्तम ने परियोजना निदेशकों की बैठक में योजनाओं की समीक्षा की।
उन्होंने कहा कि दुग्ध विकास विभाग के माध्यम से प्रदेश के सभी जिलों में आंचल कैफे खोले जाएंगे। जहां पर लोगों से दूध व अन्य उत्पाद एक ही जगह मिल सकेंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि 25 नवंबर को आंचल कैफे और पोल्ट्री वैली की शुरुआत की जाएगी। इसके लिए अधिकारियों को तैयारियां पूरी करने के निर्देश दिए।
उन्होंने बताया कि आंचल कैफे के लिए 41 स्थानों का चयन किया गया है। आंचल कैफे में दूध के अलावा शेक, आइसक्रीम, पिज्जा, दूध से बने उत्पाद कैफे में मिलेंगे। कैफे से स्थानीय लोगों को रोजगार मिलेंगे। साथ ही किसानों की आमदनी भी बढ़ेगी।
परियोजना निदेशक डेयरी जयदीप अरोड़ा ने बताया कि देहरादून के घंटाघर में एमडीडीए कांपलेक्स में आंचल कैफे तैयार कर दिया है। अन्य स्थानों पर भी कैफे खोलने की तैयारियां चल रही हैं। नोडल अधिकारी आनंद शुक्ल ने बताया कि चकराता में एक साल पहले पोल्ट्री वैली खोली थी। जिसकी सफलता के बाद अन्य स्थानों पर भी पोल्ट्री वैली बनाई जाएगी। बैठक में उत्तराखंड भेड़ एवं ऊन विकास बोर्ड के सीईओ डॉ. अविनाश आनंद, अल्पना हल्दिया, मनोज रावत आदि मौजूद थे।
