सूबे में अगले छह महीनों के भीतर विद्या समीक्षा केन्द्र स्थापित किया जायेगा। इसके लिये शिक्षा विभाग ने प्रारम्भिक तैयारियां शुरू कर दी है। जिसके तहत विभाग ने आईटी क्षेत्र की एक बड़ी कंपनी से अनुबंध कर लिया है, जो एक माह के भीतर शिक्षा महानिदेशालय में समीक्षा केन्द्र की स्थापना का कार्य प्रारम्भ कर देगी। जल्द ही गुजरात एवं गोवा के बाद उत्तराखंड देश का तीसरा राज्य बन जायेगा जहां पर आधुनिक तकनीकी से लैस विद्या समीक्षा केन्द्र स्थापित होगा।
शिक्षा मंत्री डॉ0 धन सिंह रावत ने कहा कि प्रदेश में शिक्षा व्यवस्था को प्रखर व प्रभावी बनाने के लिये राज्य सरकार निरंतर प्रयास कर रही है। शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में नवाचार एवं आधुनिक तकनीकी का उपयोग कर प्रदेश की शिक्षा व्यवस्था को और अधिक विश्वसनीय एवं रोजगारोन्मुख बनाने के उद्देश्य से सूबे में विद्या समीक्षा केन्द्र की स्थापना की जा रही है जो कि अगले छह माह के भीतर बनकर तैयार हो जायेगा। इसके लिये शिक्षा विभाग ने देश की एक ख्याति प्राप्त आईटी कंपनी कॉन्वेजीनियस के साथ अनुबंध कर लिया है। यह कंपनी इससे पूर्व गुजरात एवं गोवा राज्यों में विद्या समीक्षा केन्द्र की स्थापना करने में अहम भूमिका निभा चुकी है। हाल ही में गुजरात में आयोजित देशभर के शिक्षा मंत्रियों के सम्मेलन के दौरान विभागीय अधिकारियों के साथ गुजरात के विद्या समीक्षा केन्द्र का भ्रमण करने का मौका मिला। इस दौरान विद्या समीक्षा केन्द्र की कार्यप्रणाली को समझने का प्रयास किया गया। इसी केन्द्र की प्रेरणा से उत्तराखंड में भी विद्या समीक्षा केन्द्र की स्थापना का प्रस्ताव केन्द्र सरकार को भेजा गया। केन्द्र सरकार ने प्रस्ताव को स्वीकृत कर रूपये 5 करोड़ की धनराशि भी जारी कर दी है। इसके लिये डॉ0 रावत ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी एवं केन्द्रीय शिक्षा मंत्री धर्मेन्द्र प्रधान का आभार जताया।
विद्यालयी शिक्षा मंत्री डॉ0 धन सिंह रावत ने बताया कि विभागीय अधिकारियों को छह माह के भीतर विद्या समीक्षा केन्द्र स्थापित करने के निर्देश दे दिये गये है। समीक्षा केन्द्र की स्थापना के बाद विभाग का सम्पूर्ण डाटा ऑनलाइन उपलब्ध रहेगा। जिसके तहत विद्यालयों का विवरण, शिक्षकों का विषयवार डाटा, छात्र-छात्राओं का विवरण के साथ ही प्रदेश के विद्यालयों में उपलब्ध संसाधनों डाटा मौजूद रहेगा। इसके अलावा शासन एवं महानिदेशालय स्तर के अधिकारी विद्या समीक्षा केन्द्र के माध्यम से किसी भी विद्यालय का ऑनलाइन निरीक्षण के साथ ही वहां की सम्पूर्ण गतिविधियों पर भी नजर रख सकेंगे। केन्द्र की स्थापना के उपरांत निश्चित रूप से प्रदेश की शिक्षा व्यवस्था में शैक्षणिक, प्रशासनिक सुधार तो आयेगा ही साथ ही शिक्षा की गुणवत्ता में आमूलचूल परिवर्तन लाया जा सकेगा।
