थॉमस कप विजेता भारतीय बैडमिंटन टीम के खिलाड़ी लक्ष्य सेन का अपने गृह जनपद अल्मोड़ा पहुंचने पर आज भव्य स्वागत किया जाएगा। लक्ष्य सेन रविवार को अल्मोड़ा पहुंचेंगे। 24 मई का देहरादून में सीएम पुष्कर सिंह धामी और खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या भी लक्ष्य सेन को सम्मानित करेंगे।

उत्तरांचल बैडमिंटन संघ के सचिव बीएस मनकोटी ने बताया कि अल्मोड़ा में लक्ष्य सेन के स्वागत के लिए शनिवार को खेल स्टेडियम में एक बैठक का आयोजन किया गया। रविवार शाम पांच बजे लक्ष्य और उनके पिता डीके सेन को कर्बला से जुलूस की शक्ल में होटल शिखर लाया जाएगा।
छह बजे होटल सभागार में उन्हें सम्मानित किया जाएगा। थॉमस कप जीतने की खुशी में बैडमिंटन संघ ने अल्मोड़ा की मशहूर बाल मिठाई प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के लिए दिल्ली भिजवाई है। देहरादून में भी लक्ष्य सेन के स्वागत की तैयारी चल रही है।
